Everything happens in the only way it can. It is only an illusion that humans have free will as to their actions. All human actions happen due to an irresistible impulse in the moment.

The opportunity to become master of one’s inner universe lies in knowing what one can do and what one cannot do. As to the outer drama one can do nothing, everything just happens. But under right conditions and with right guidance one can gain control over one’s inner state.
